The stunning Peerko Empire Boot is a tall barefoot boot featuring a unique high-lace design that can fit a wide variety of feet and calf sizes. A side zipper allows for easy on and off once you find your preferred lacing. They are available in elegant black and chestnut colors.

Fit Type:
  • Medium volume feet. The Empire boots are highly adjustable with laces through the midfoot and up the ankle and leg.
  • Slope or Mountain foot shape work best; can also work for Plateau but Square shaped feet may need to size up.
  • Wide to Extra Wide toe box. Average width may also work but will feel roomy. On Narrow feet the Peerko Empire boots may feel too loose.

Sizing:
  • True to size - most can order their normal barefoot boot size.
  • Measurements in the size chart include the inner length and width of the shoe in centimeters as well as a calf circumference (#1) and shaft height (from ground to top of the calf opening, #2). Add about 0.5 - 1.2 cm to your total foot length to get an optimal fit. See How To Measure Your Feet for more details.

    • Tongue: Non-gusseted
  • Interior Lining: Fleece (light insulation)
  • Sole: 3.5mm thin, flexible rubber (+1.5mm profile)
Barefoot Shoe Qualities:
  • Zero Drop - No heel elevation. Peerko Empire boots are completely flat.
  • Wide Foot-Shaped Toe Box - Plenty of room for full toe splay.
  • Thin, Flexible Sole - Flexible enough to allow for natural foot movement.
Best For:
  • Urban everyday wear in fall/winter/spring. Not waterproofed.

I love that these zipnup with a boot shaft that doesn't gap around my Calf. They do have extra room around my ankle, but that us normal on me. Nice room in the toes, and nice and long on my long legs, they come up fairly high on my Calf. They are also lightly lined for extra warmth. Great buy, also fashionable

First pair of barefoot shoes--love them!

My feet are giant (size 42) and can be hard to fit--but these boots fit like a dream. The color is beautiful, the style is chic (I like that is a little punk), and it's possible to walk in them all day, indoors and out. The adjustable laces seem like they would help control the shaft width; the default fit me perfectly. When can I get my next pair? Let me also mention that Anya's seems to have great customer service; real people, ready to help you find the perfect shoe.

These boots are near perfect: zero drop, wide toe box, barefoot feel, knee high, and gorgeous. I absolutely love them and people compliment them everywhere I go.

Gorgeous boots, but very small calves

I have slightly larger than average calves, and these boots will probably never fit me. Saying that they can accommodate a wide variety of calf sizes is laughable. I wouldn't recommend these to anyone with muscular calves or who wears above a size large in pants.

I am in love!

I have been struggling for years to find a foot shaped fashion boot and boy do these deliver!! They fit like a glove and the calf zipper allows a perfect fit without having to untie the laces. They are now a wardrobe staple. Thank you so much Anya for your reviews and recommendations! I couldn't have found these without you!
