I love the shoes. They were just slightly too small, so I ordered a size up. I have a ‘mountain’ shaped foot (i.e. my second toes are slightly longer than my big toes), and it was cramped. I am typically a size 9, so I ordered a 40 as the replacement.

These fit so narrow I wasn’t able to wear them at first. Since I wasn’t able to return in time do to a hospitalization, I was determined make it work. I was able to stretch them easily with leather stretch spray and mechanical shoe stretchers. Now they are the perfect fit and I love them.

Removable insole

I first tried these on and boy they were tight on my forefoot! I consider myself to have wider forefeet that are very finicky to pressure due to bunions and arthritis. THEN I realized that these loafers have a removable insole! Once I removed the insole, they fit great! I wear these often and enjoy the classic style.

My big toe felt uncomfortable = NOT A BAREFOOT SHOE

My big toe is pushed too much it’s uncomfortable. This is just a normal shoe, not “barefoot” style. If you want this elegant style might as well pay way less for non “barefoot” brand. I would recommend the Anya loafer instead unfortunately the beige is sold out in my size. Other than the toe issue, it’s absolutely amazing quality. *cries as I pack it for return*
