Koel Ila Women's Leather Sneaker

These shoes are so cute and well made - I’m obsessed! I was a little bummed that the mint/gray combo was sold out in my size but I’m happy with the navy. I was between a 38 and a 39 on the size chart. Based on other reviews, I sized up but I’m not sure I needed to. Still, I’m keeping the 39 so I can wear thicker socks if needed. I have wide feet but narrow heels and these work perfectly for me. They’re flexible with just enough cushioning. I want a pair in another color! Very, very happy with these.

Disappointed with the sizing. I even printed out the size guide from the Koel website with the foot diagram and purchased size 39 for my 24cm length foot. I do have a square toe shape and my toes were hitting the shoe on the side, but there was also minimal room in front of my big toe even without socks. Trying a 40 but had to order a different color as quickly sold out in the off white/mint.

I own two pairs of these shoes and they are adorable substitutes for the excessively narrow Adidas sneakers. I ordered 38 because that’s my usual shoe size, but I’d order up to 39 the next time in order to have more sock options.

I am over the moon about these shoes. They fit my feet perfectly; I have a narrow foot but prefer a wide toe box for natural toe spread, and the Ila is comfortable and secure everywhere, including the heel (where my feet are particularly narrow). I wear a US 6 and purchased the 36, which fits perfectly. (That was the size the chart recommended, and the chart was correct, in my case. Perhaps someone with a wider foot might wish to size up?) The padded tongue is luxurious, and I love how springy and tactile the sole is. Also, when I say these are cute, I mean they are CUTE. They are stylish and beautifully made; some of the most attractive shoes I own. People stop and compliment them everywhere I go, and they elevate even plain outfits to style. I hope they make these forever because I will need more when this pair wears out, which it absolutely will because I never want to wear any other pair of shoes.
