These are true to size. My bigger foot measures 24.1 cm and the size 38 fits great for me. I’ve hear these about a year and a half and they have held up well (not daily wear by any means). I wish they had a heel loop to help pull them on- they’re not the easiest shoe to throw on but once on they’re very secure. I’ve worn these all day at amusement parks and zoos without any complaints at all. Wish they had more playful color block colors. I would recommend.
Thanks so much for coming back and writing a review for these! We love that they've been comfortable for long days on your feet. If you're looking for more colorful options, we have the Koel Ila or the Shapen Rewind - a north sole insole could be added to either of those for added padding! Hope this helps. they are comfy and with plenty of room, pretty resistant to water, but I do think for their quality they are very overpriced. I've had them for like 5 months and they look soooo worn
Wore the first time for an all day outing with dancing. So comfortable!
I have arthritis, bunions, nero...
I really like the look of the zings. I typically wear them to work a lot as a hairstylist since the all leather upper is easier to clean hair off of rather than canvas. I ended up changing the insole for my lems cork insoles to help slightly with keeping my feet cool. After several wears now though I feel like they're still pretty stiff. The leather gives a little more but to get there you have to crease it, which im not the biggest fan of that look. And for the price point theyre still pretty hard. Not as flexible as I would have hoped for. Compared to more lightweight shoes such as bohempia, some of my favorite shoes, they just feel really hard still. Who know though, maybe with even more wear they might soften a little more. Also being all leather I noticed they hold a lot of heat. My feet are always pretty hot by the end of my work day. On a positive note though the toe box is nice and wide. I never feel as though they are squished.
I tried these because they're in the shop's "extra wide" section.
I first ordered a 37 based on the size chart but it was way too small, so I returned them and ordered a 38. My pinky and big toe both touch the sides of the shoe and I have basically no splay room. My feet went numb from a few minutes of wear, even with the laces as loose as possible. Removing the insoles makes the midsole rub against the sides of my feet and didn't help with numbness. I was hoping these would be better than Lems and Altra, which are also not wide enough for me but at least have a stretchy fabric upper material. I think the Zings being made of such stiff material makes the narrowness even more of an issue.
One of the shoes also had some weird shiny patches on the toe box that won't come off so I'm skeptical about the quality given the price.
Thanks for sharing your feedback! It sounds like you could use even more space in the toebox. We would recommend Realfoot or Bohempia (wide width) as options to consider. They will be wider than the Barebarics, Lems, or Altra shoes you have tried. Best of luck in your search! Let us know if we can be of any additional help.
