The Zaqq Riquet is a leather buckle boot in glossy black leather. It can be dressy, edgy, or casual depending on how you style it, and is one of Anya's all time favorite boots! The toe box is medium to wide, so are good for people who need a little more space than average width barefoot shoe brands, and the sole is super flexible.
Fit Type:
  • Toe box: Greek. Great option for Sloped and Mountain-shaped feet (see Anya's post on foot types).
  • Volume: Medium. Those with low volume feet should plan to use insoles and/or shoe tongue pads (see what is foot volume?).
  • Width: Medium-Wide. 
  • Sizing: True to size.

  • Upper material: Premium Nappa leather, extra smooth and gently tanned. Strobel-stitched with double seams.
  • Insole: Open-pored, breathable leather.
  • Outsole: Flexible, non-slip, abrasion-proof rubber, 3.9mm thick. Hand stitched to the upper.
  • Adhesive: Solvent-free adhesive bonding.
  • Available Sizes: 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45

Comfy and classy!

Love these boots so much! The leather feels and looks incredible. My bigger foot has a bunion and is 23.5cm long and 9.5 cm wide with foot tracing. I originally got size 38 which fit very close without socks and was too tight for my pinky toe. Only next size up was 40 so I went for it - ended up being perfect with thick socks and allowed my toes to splay! My feet are very happy all day in the office, my only regret is not ordering earlier.

Classy and comfy!!

I LOVE these boots!! The leather is very high quality, and they're very well made. The sole is thin enough to feel the ground underneath, but not so thin that it's uncomfortable. I put many miles on these right out of the box, and look forward to wearing them for years to come. They seem built to last.

I love these boots. I’m new to the barefoot world and these were my first set. These replaced my lucky brand booties and my feet have thanked me. So nice to find ankle boots that are super stylish as well as comfortable. Highly recommend.

Bought these for my teen daughter, the shoe was too big for her (thin foot/medium volume). I'm a size 39 as well according to measurements and it was too tight for me (wide foot/high volume). Well made shoe though and it's cute, however will be returning them.

Good boots

These are attractive boots, and after wearing them for a day, I can also say they are comfortable. Overall, I'm happy with them. I took one star off b/c the fit isn't perfect. There is more space on top of my foot than I would like, but I ordered some tongue pads that will hopefully help with that. At first, I thought they may be too short in foot length, but given how flexible they are, I think it will work out. I ordered a size 39, which is my usual size in boots. For reference, I wear a 38 in groundies and a 40 in Be Lenka.
