About Us
I’d been eyeing these boots last year but my size sold out. So this year I got them. They are comfortable, warm and easy to slip on and off even with my wide, high volume feet.
We measured meticulously, and I know we did it correct because the other shoes in our order fit like custom made shoes. But these were so small for my daughter who wears about 8.5 and has wide feet. As soon as I opened the box I could tell the sizing was way off. My son who wears a size womens7 and more narrow foot could barely get them on. Like a lot of difficulty even putting his foot through the opening. From the very narrow opening to the snug fit he didn't want to keep them either.
Only plus is they look lovely, aesthetics are so nice, even for a male.
These shoes looked like the most sleek of the wide toed boots, but they felt like paddles. The ankle feels like a too tight sock, and with the wide toes looks goofy. The wool lining is nice. I just wish they were designed properly.
I was looking for a minimal and cool pair of leather boots and these perfectly fit the bill - with a few caveats! I sized up to a 38 based on Anya's review (I have similar-sized feet and usually wear a 6.5 US), and find the shoes slightly too big, so I've used some fit hacks. An insole was really helpful and also made the boots look better (less baggy) on my low volume feet. They fit me best with crew length thick sicks + insole, and I'm also considering a tongue or heel pad for an even more customized fit. I walk a ton and these are holding up really well. They have good traction in wet conditions and with wool socks I find them plenty warm for NYC winter. I really love these and am super happy with my first barefoot winter shoe pick.
These are so sleek and stylish, the perfect dressy boot. I have low volume, narrow-normal width, and skinny ankles. The ankle opening is VERY skinny so I can really only tuck in leggings or tights but I like that it keeps my foot in. They are comfortable on my plateau-shaped feet, even though they appear to be more of a slope shape.
My foot is 26.7 cm and I'd say the 42 is TTS. But I'd recommend sizing up if you want to wear thicker socks or like a lot of splay.
