The Be Lenka Snowfox is a luxurious water-resistant barefoot winter boot designed for snow and harsh weather.

Inside you'll find a plush wool lining and insulating insole. Outside is a premium leather trim and soft reflective fabric. The lacing is fully adjustable to keep snow out and non-slip rubber soles keep you secure on uncertain ground. 

These boots aren't just beautiful, they're practical and warm so your feet can be free no matter the weather!

Fit Type:
  • Foot Volume: Medium volume, but adjustable for low volume feet. The wool insole is removable for high volume feet, but there is no lining underneath it.
  • Foot Shape: Square, so should fit most foot shapes.
  • Width: Wide to Extra Wide toe box. Average and narrow width may also work with the adjustable laces, but can feel roomy.

Be Lenka Snowfox Boot Sizing:
  • The wool lining makes these boots run snug. We recommend sizing up from your usual size.
  • Measurements in the size chart below are the inner length and width of the shoe in centimeters (8,9 = 8.9 cm). Add about 0.5 – 1.2 cm to your measured foot length to get an optimal fit. Feel free to email us with questions about sizing.

  • Removable Insole: Latex, merino wool, aluminum foil
  • Sole: Rubber made with 10% recycled material
Barefoot Shoe Qualities:
  • Zero Drop - No heel elevation.
  • Wide Foot-Shaped Toe Box - Plenty of room for full toe splay.
  • Thin, Flexible Sole - Flexible enough to allow for natural foot movement.
Best For:
  • Urban everyday wear in winter. Water resistant, but added waterproofing to the leather is beneficial.

Perfect

I got these boots for a winter trip to Norway. They were ideal — soft and comfortable, light and still warm. They kept my feet dry when I slogged through snow and rain. (I live in San Francisco so I don’t live with snow at all.) When I got home I wore them in a heavy rain, and finally they started to leak a bit, so I need to hit them with the waterproofing again. Conditions were very icy in one Norway town, so I had to buy ice spikes (new to me) and discovered that with the wide toes, I needed to size up — my boots are 39 and the spikes sold for 41-43 fit.

These boots are beautiful and I find them so comfortable to wear. It is so great to have a minimalist winter boot that looks so stylish. They were initially out of stock, but Anya let me know when they were available. The shipping was very fast and it’s great to be able to pay all taxes and duties ahead of time. Warm and cozy

This is my first pair of barefoot snowboots. I sized up to 39 for my 24cm low volume foot. They are roomy but comfortable. I love how warm they are. I love the thicker and grippy sole. They are pricey but I hope to get many years of use. I like their look and how easy I can slip them on and off. They are tall enough during a few inches a snow but probably not much more than that. I love them for my Chicago winter needs.

Warm, Cushy goodness!

Love these! Finally found my first pair of barefoots. I will be hiking in these. I spent some extra $ to have my cobbler fully waterproof them. Treads are great for hiking. My toe mound is normal to widish with long toes that are mountain/squarish, hard to fit into shoes. My ankles heels and calves are pretty skinny, but even though they are huge, with a gigantic duck-like toe box, I was still able to lace them up and feel like my ankles were supported and cushy comfort hugged my feet. Slight slippage in the heel but not bad. My feet are 9 1/2 inches long, about 3 inches wide, but still fit comfortably into a 41. Thank you Anya!
