After using said boots in all kinds of weather this winter, I have more input. They are still gorgeous and warm. Salt is easily cleaned off of the suede with vinegar/water. However I have noticed several times that the toes leak where the two rubber toe parts are sewn together. I thought it was my imagination when I felt like I had wet toes, and when I took them off, sure enough they were wet! I am not sure if this is a random defect or if everyone deals with this with this brand/style. The boots were not sodden in any way, just the rubber toe area was wet. There is no apparent problem visible to cause this issue. So if someone asked me if I would purchase again I am not sure what to say! I still love the boots, but this is kind of a big issue.

Also, I would recommend trying wool inserts from Shapen, as the inserts from Amazon are a but narrow and can move a bit with hiking.

Gorgeously perfect.

I had been eyeing up a few styles for a few years, including boots from Belenka and Groundies (whose footwear generally fit me best.) I was excited when the Lynx came out and ordered a pair over the Black Friday sale. My feet are 25.5 and 26cm respectively, and I sized down as suggested. But unfortunately my toes surprisingly touched the end. While leather can stretch, I knew I needed to size up to 41 because of the rubber toe. The 41s were generously large on me, so I ordered a sheepskin insole from Amazon that fixed that problem. So with thick wool socks and the insole it is perfect. I have walked on rough trails and deep snow and stayed warm. I highly recommend! Don't forget to try another size if the first doesn't fit.
