suspect someone else had returned them as I saw a tiny crease on the toe box, and my guess is the person who got them thought it was way too stiff. Initially, I thought the same! When I put them on, the toe box would not bend at all except on the part where toes naturally bend. This made the toe box push onto the top of my foot and was incredibly uncomfortable, but I fixed this with the help of my sister who physically bent them till they creased in a more comfortable way naturally. After that, it was only a matter of breaking them in and now they bend beautifully! I have been wearing them multiple times a week as my main casual shoe for a few months now, and so far they have held up fairly well. However, the one minor flaw happened in the first week of wearing them. I had barely worn them once or twice and I wasn’t sure if I hit them against something (I don’t think I did), but there were a few missing specks on the leather. This is normal, as all my other leather shoes have the same wear and tear, but I was very scared as only a week had passed. Luckily, I was proved wrong and there have been no other problems since!
