The Florence is a sleek take on a classic Italian sandal. Made of high-quality leather and slip-resistant soles, these sandals are the perfect addition to any summer outfit.

Fit Type:
  • Low to Medium volume feet. Straps may be stretched or may stretch with wear to accommodate a higher volume foot, but cannot be returned once stretched.
  • Slope or Mountain foot shape work best; may work for Plateau. Not best for square feet.
  • Medium to Wide toe box. On Narrow feet the Groundies Florence may feel slightly loose.

Sizing:
  • True to size - most can order their normal barefoot shoe size.
  • Measurements in the size chart below include the inner length and width of the shoe in centimeters. Add about 0.5 - 1.2 cm to your total foot length to get an optimal fit. See How To Measure Your Feet for more details.

The perfect neutral sandal for me

I echo the other review for these. These are beautiful. These were comfy and secure right out of the box and will allow me to have a casual option for every day and my business-casual office workwear. I went with a size 40 instead of my normal 42 (sneakers) since I didn't want as much room in front of the toes, and they fit exactly like I'd hoped. I have about 25.2cm length, 10.2cm width feet, medium to high volume, and sloped feet, but am new to transitioning to barefoot/minimalist shoes, so am not sure what might happen as my splay increases over time. For now, I could not be more thrilled with my purchase and look forward to wearing them for all the hot Georgia months (basically nine months a year)!

Beautiful, but run long

These are a great neutral sandal and the leather is soft. They run maybe two sizes long for me and are on the narrower side. I have a high instep, medium volume toes, and a medium width and the straps felt good, not digging in (one was maybe loose). They felt secure despite not fitting.
