The Rosa Zipper Boots were developed by Anya to be a cute, classy, and versatile ankle boot in a healthy foot shape. They are 100% handmade using naturally tanned leather, cotton thread, and a pure rubber outsole. They are comfortable for all day wear, can be dressed up, and are stylish. Note that the sole is made of natural leather and rubber, which can feel stiff when brand new. The leather softens with wear and conforms to your foot.
Fit Type:
  • Toe box: Slope & Mountain. This shoe works best for people with their 1st or 2nd toe longest. A square shaped foot might not have enough space for the outer toes (see Anya’s post on foot types).
  • Volume: High. Those with low volume feet should plan to use insoles and/or shoe tongue pads (see what is foot volume?).
  • Width: Medium Wide - These boots are consistent with average width barefoot shoe brands.

Shoe is amazing, wish it was more durable

First, I love the bootie! It's comfortable with plenty of breathing room for my toes. I can wear them for professional work and I'm constantly complimented on them! That being said, I expected more from leather boots. I condition, clean, and care for them regularly, but after two winter seasons of wearing them the sole has already cracked. I have other similarly cared for leather boots that are still going strong after 5 years of winter wear, and for the price I expected the same out of these.

My favorite shoes!

I LOVE these booties! I have worn them to death this season, pretty much every day from October through March. I have beaten the heck out of them, and the sole is starting to come off the toe, but I still am giving them five stars, due to the amount of wear I’ve put into them. They are soooo comfortable and stylish. Feels like I’m wearing socks, which for me is a good thing bc I hate wearing shoes. I got the suede, which was a bit of a mistake due to the amount o wear them in snow and rain, but they still look pretty good! I will definitely be buying another pair next fall/winter!

Just what I was looking for

After trying several brands of barefoot booties and not liking the way they fit (too wide or too narrow) and realizing that for the price the materials were not up to par, these were a welcomed find! Wish I had tried them first, but for some reason over looked them. These are leather inside and out, which is pretty amazing. Having them leather lined means they won't break down and turn to flakes like poly materials will. The leather is nice quality and thick, which will break in nicely. I got the brown and shiny black bc I liked them so much. I find they fit true to size, and for me there is enough room for thin wool insole for warmth which I was hoping to be able to do. I will say though that I had to order the brown twice. The first pair it felt like wearing two different shoes. One of the shoes the leather was really soft and "broken in" and the other was stiff and rubbed my ankle at weird spot. They also had a weird bubble in the leather where it looks like it was shaped. But the second pair fit like an exact match and there was no rubbing. Same with the black. I say that to encourage you that if they are what you are looking for, but not just right, it could be the pair, not necessarily every pair. I am really happy with these!
