Anya labels these shoes as “great” on ice and “great” in snow. Clearly Anya has not actually worn these shoes in sub-freezing temps with ice. There is absolutely NO GRIP. Like zero. Wearing these shoes on ice felt like I was ice skating on a Vaseline floor. The wool liner is cozy on bare feet, but in 20-9 degrees F with an extra layer of wool socks, my toes were frozen.
These are not adequate winter shoes for people living in areas that below freezing with ice in streets and sidewalks. I haven’t had the opportunity to test out their waterproof skin….
Just got them in and they are soooo cozy! Walked around most of the day too! Super happy with the puchase. Lets home they hold up when it starts to get really cold
They are sturdy and warm, but like another reviewer said, they pooch out on the sides and I think they look goofy. My fam say it looks fine, but I think these will become hiking/work boots and I'll keep trying for something cute.
Wow amazing quality barefoot boots!
I saw a few other reviews mention this, but was hopeful enough to still buy - sadly they look ridiculous. The sides bulge out no matter how I try to tighten the laces. I wish I knew how other people got around this to take such nice looking photos! Really wanted them to work out.
We're sorry to hear these didn't work out for you, Abby. You're welcome to return these and try something different in the shop like the Peerko Frost! Feel free to email our expert team at shop@anyas-shop.com for other ideas and sizing help.
