Sizing guide

Perfect sneakers

I love these for hiking, weightlifting, walking, and general use. I took out the insole, which is fairly stiff, and they fit perfectly on my wide but not super wide feet. They soften up nicely with use without feeling sloppy. They are kind of like a hug for my feet. They are true to size. I wish they came in more colors!
They are tighter than Freet Tanga but I prefer the fit because the laces make them fit more securely than the elastic cord. For a little more cushion, putting the Freet flex insole that comes in Tanga makes these really comfortable, but also made them a little tight.

Almost perfect, but rubs Achilles’ tendon on the upper back of shoe

I love everything about these, except that the back of the shoe rubs badly against my Achilles’ tendon. Is there any fix for that? I’ve just started running and the sole feels like it will be perfect for running, but I don’t know how to soften up the back upper edge of the shoe.

Great sneakers

Love, love, love these shoes! I’ve had a hard time finding foot shaped sneakers for a new, very lo-key jogging habit, and these fit the bill. Not too squishy underfoot (but just enough cushion) and a very comfy wear with the knit upper. I’d recommend double-knotting for vigorous exercise as one of my laces came undone rather frequently (not an issue restricted to Freet, I’ve had this happen with others). Definitely a good fit for my mountain shaped feet. The only issue I’ve noticed is that the stitching holding the lace loops has started to come undone. Not a lot, and not in a way that compromises the shoe, but something I’ll definitely watch to gauge durability over time.

Finally a barefoot workout shoe that fits!

Finally! I've been going barefoot for about 5 years but Find that many barefoot shoes are still too narrow on me. Lems fit me best of all but I wish they were more minimal. I do lot of weight lifting and running and could not find a good bare foot shoe that fit my extra wide forefoot but short length. These fit the bill and I am thrilled! Thanks Anya!
