These are just as beautiful as they look online. The leather feels like butter and silk, the sole is lovely and flexible without being flimsy, and they're incredibly comfortable. But I do think that the site description is inaccurate. I have low-volume feet and there is no way that these sandals would stay on my feet. The description references adjustable straps, as in plural straps, but the slight midfoot tightening that you can get from one strap by cinching the ankle buckle all the way down just doesn't do a lot. For me, it did basically nothing-- the shoes started floppy and stayed floppy. I think that medium-volume feet and up will love these. I wish that the shoes had more built-in adjustability, but whether or not that's eventually possible, I think that the site description should be updated to clarify that there are not multiple points of adjustment. My experience was that these shoes really can't lock down the way that they would need to in order to fit low-volume feet. The strap over my toes was fine [my feet are medium width.] The shoes were so pretty and comfortable that I was tempted to keep them anyway even though they weren't secure, but my feet had to clench to keep them on when I walked. Which wouldn't end up being comfortable for more than the few minutes I spent with them in the house. I felt tragic when I returned them. My other misgiving was the leather itself. It was so lovely and light right out of the box. But it didn't seem overly durable to me. Like it was so very thin and light that it felt like perhaps it could wear out prematurely. That is only a perception and not based on experience, but even if the sandals would have fit my feet properly, the flimsy [though comfortable!!] leather would have at least given me pause. And to be honest, despite feeling like the leather might not hold up, I probably would have kept the shoes anyway to test the durability because they were so nice. You know, for science. So I hope that a more adjustable version can happen in the future, and I hope that Anya's shop will amend the product listing to reflect the lack of adjustability at multiple points to help prevent unnecessary purchases and returns. With that said, the returns coverage was excellent and I was able to immediately exchange the sandals for another totally different style with a different price [they refunded me the difference] that shipped out right away. I love that, especially since some shoes on this site seem to sell out fast. The exchange also kept my new customer 10% discount for the new model I picked, which was cool because I figured that would end up being an email to customer service to request a manual adjustment. So this is honestly the best return/exchange experience I've had so far for online shopping. I'll update if anything weird happens once they receive the shoes back, but so far I'm really impressed and absolutely loving my replacement pair of Laboo tie sandals. Which I'm already wearing and enjoying even though I just sent the Mukishoes return yesterday. Because the returns system really is that good.
