Mukishoes Nazare Leather Sandal

I've owned these for a year and haven't worn them because they're so soft I tripped over my feet several times when I got them, which was scary and annoying. The toe seemed to fold under. I was disappointed that they didn't work for me. I held onto them and was about to try and sell them this spring when I realized I could adjust the heel strap to push my foot forward in the shoe and tighten the strap over the toes. Since then I've been wearing them comfortably. They are soft as a cloud, the straps are suede, nothing rubs. They're so comfortable.

I love these sandals!! The leather is so soft and there was zero break in time needed. I've been wearing them non-stop since I got them. There's just enough sole for a little protection, but still plenty of ground feel. They fit exactly as expected in my normal size. I'm super happy!

Too big otherwise loved it!

I had been wearing similar looking Birkenstocks for the last two years so it seemed like a good idea to purchase this style going barefoot. I’ve had a couple of issues with these. First off the front footbed tends to actually tilt down when wearing. This can be a bit of a tripping hazard. The other issue is in the quality control. From out of the box the left sandal felt slightly tighter. Which I thought was weird since my right foot is actually a little larger. It wasn’t anything that required me to tighten the right more so I wasn’t that concerned about it. Then after I used protective spray on them and they dried I noticed that the suede is different on the two sandals! One is noticeably smoother. Obviously I’ve worn them so they cannot be returned and fortunately it’s probably something that only I will notice. But I do expect more from a company that is supposed to make quality shoes and that I pay a premium price for. I should have more carefully tested them out but I was so excited to wear them I missed those details. I added a picture of how the front sole of the sandals tilt down and the difference in leathers.

I like the comfort and fit. Very soft and feel good on my feet. I gave them four stars because the flaps under the buckles can get folded down when putting them on, so it’s just a bit fussy to get them on. Once they’re on I love them!
