I bought my poppies two months before our wedding, and wore them every day leading up. They were so comfortable all day long, and I felt so pretty in them! I also wore them daily on our honeymoon in Poland. I did wear out the right heel by driving with them on.
Bought 43 wide. Fit perfectly. Super cute. Wore these all day and night for a wedding I was in, no issues. Perfect for dancing all night long and did not have any pain from the shoes afterwards. Great quality shoe.
I bought these to wear in a wedding with a long dress and they looked great! Sizing was a bit tough. I often wear a 41 and ended up with a 40 regular (pic of the tighter fitting pair). Thankfully they stretch a bit. I think a 40 wide would have been perfect but they were out of stock. What surprised me was the gap (or extra space) on top for both the 41 and the 41W, shown in the attached pictures. I might have been able to make the length work but my foot slid all over due to the extra space.
I find these shoes to be super comfortable and wear them at least once a week. That said, like others have mentioned, the leather is delicate and the heels both show significant wear from just walking around. In fact, they showed wear after the first time I wore them, which was at the wedding, and it truly was only walking, I hadn’t driven.
I’d buy these again, but would buy them in a color that had an easy shoe polish match to cover up the wear.
I have been looking for a LONG time for the perfect barefoot dress shoe, and I'm pretty sure this is it! Yes, they run long, but that happens to be amazing for my high arches. The issue I always run into with closed toe barefoot shoes is that my big toe hits the end of my shoe when I step down and my arch stretches out. Shoes in the right length to accommodate that tend to look like boats on my feet. Not these! The narrow profile is super flattering and the ankle strap is adorable while also preventing the shoe from sliding when I lift my foot and my arch contracts. Most barefoot dress shoes for women are ballet flats or some version thereof, but I'd say these are more like my favorite heels, just flat and comfortable. I hate ballet flats- not only are they ugly on my feet, but they're wide around the arch area and slip off my feet when I walk unless I size down. If I size down, then my toes are uncomfortable. Finally, someone is actually designing attractive barefoot shoes! Will be ordering more of these in the future!
So when I bought my 1st pair of the Shapen Poppy Flats in Rose I was so happy. I got a 37 wide according to the size chart. I later got the brown and cognac when they were back in stock. I also got their sister style which i had to return due to them being too large. I had gotten them also in 37 wide. The Petal Flats are beautiful but I need to size down to 36 wide. Width is great if you are a wide feet girlie like myself but it runs long. Will either have to wait for restocking or order off Shapen. Not sure yet because I have been waiting since last year for restock on these lovelies. Now they came and size didn't fit😭. See if I could get an exchange size but they were out of 36 when I was making the returns. By the way Anya's Shop had the gold and silver anklets that were interchangeable for these styles, not sure why they don't carry then anymore but I would love to purchase if they ever come back. Anyway, back to the star of this review-the Shapen Poppy Flats ✨️. They are wonderful. You will get plenty of compliments. I sure do. They are stylish and comfortable for how feet is to be in shoes. I am loving every step of the way the barefoot community is heading 🙌. Come on girlie come get your cute pair/s today😃. Your feet won't be in aches or pain like conventional shoes.
