These beautifully made Be Lenka Winter 3.0 barefoot boots will keep you feeling warm and stylish all winter. They are made with an integrated membrane to protect from water. Interior wool lining throughout adds extra warmth. The 4mm sole (not counting lugs) is slip resistant and lets your feet move as nature intended while still protecting you from the elements. A wide, foot-shaped toe box gives your toes the freedom to spread out naturally.

Be Lenka Winter 3.0 Fit Type:
  • Medium to low: The interior wool lining takes up some of the usable interior space, making these feel lower volume compared to other unlined Be Lenka boots.
  • Square Foot Shape: Should fit even extra wide feet! It will also accommodate all other foot shapes depending on the width of your feet.
  • Wide Width: Wide to Extra Wide toe box. Average width may also work but will feel roomy. On Narrow feet the Winter 3.0 boots may feel too loose.

Be Lenka Winter 3.0 Boot Sizing:
  • The lining makes these boots run slightly snug. If between sizes, size up.
  • Measurements in the size chart below are the inner length and width of the shoe in centimeters (8,9 = 8.9 cm). Add about 0.5 – 1.2 cm to your measured foot length to get an optimal fit. Feel free to email us with questions about sizing.

Materials & Details:
  • Shoe: Chocolate Brown - Premium Nubuck Leather, Smooth Black and Smooth Brown - Premium Nappa leather.
  • Tongue: Gusseted
  • Interior Lining: Merino Wool with an integrated waterproof protective membrane.
  • Sole: Rubber, 4mm thick not counting lugs. Slip resistant.
  • Gusseted Tongue: Gusseting goes up to the third eyelet from the top.
Barefoot Shoe Qualities:
  • Zero Drop - Uniform thickness through the sole and no heel elevation.
  • Wide Foot-Shaped Toe Box - Plenty of room for toe splay.
  • Thin, Flexible Sole - Warm enough for winter but flexible enough to allow for natural foot movement.
Best For: Urban everyday wear during fall/winter in colder weather. Can work great on snow due to the integrated protective membrane and water resistant leather. Not recommended for use as an athletic shoe.

Beautiful, Versatile Boots

These are high-quality, attractive boots. I wanted a pair of comfortable, dressy, black boots that I could wear in the ice and snow of WI/MN, and these will be perfect. I think I could easily pair these with a dress for a night out at the orchestra, or wear them on a long hike through the forest. My foot length is 24.1 cm, so I sized up to a 39. They are pleasantly snug, and I assume they will stretch out a bit over time. A size 40 would have also fit well, if I wanted them to be a bit roomier. The lining is ultra soft and cozy, so I don't think thick socks will be necessary. I was initially a bit taken aback at the look of the wide toe box, but now I actually love it.

Stylish, Comfortable, Warm!

Ordered the Be Lenka Winter 3.0 Merino Wool Lined Boot in black smooth leather and love these! I wanted to be able to wear a medium weight wool sock with them, so I sized up, and they fit well. I have wide arthritic toes with narrow heel and ankle, and I like how snug I can tie the at the ankle so they look sleek at the ankle. If you have wider ankles, you might need to find longer laces. Versatile boots that dress up with trousers or down with jeans. My feet feel warm but not sweaty walking outside in urban areas during cold Wisconsin winter. Rubbed some mink oil on them ti orotect from slush and snow, and is seems to be working well. Great traction, too, without looking like a hiking boot. Received within 4 days of ordering. Thank you!

Almost a year out, with heavy use, this boot is a big win!

I bought two of the Be Lenka Winter 3.0 in early 2024. First was the matte black nubuck, which was so comfortable in below freezing weather, that I bought the smooth leather version for a part-time job that involves miles of walking and carrying heavy loads at times. Both have been stellar.

I followed advice and sized up from the size chart size 38 to a size 39. As I have high arches, I did have to remove the insoles and wear thinner socks. My bare feet measure 23.5cm, but with 10cm toes, and high arches, so finding shoes that fit is always a struggle. The shoe laces seemed short at first, but they stretch quit a bit and are now long.

The quality has been outstanding, like the best of vintage, but with foot shaped and flexible. Others in my family have also bought Be Lenka and have been very happy.

Too big

These shoes are wonderful, but I sized up based on reviews and the instructions on this page stating that I should add .5 to 1.2cm to know the correct size. I did that and ordered the 44 instead of my usual 43 in the Entice, even though they have a similar length. I put them on and of course they were very comfortable but after taking a short walk my heart began to sink. They are just so roomy and once the laces loosened my feet started moving about way too much. I am so disappointed.

I friggin love these boots

So cute, well made, comfortable and durable. I switched out the laces and wear them without socks. The width is luxurious compared to other lined boots and with some creative lacing, I can keep my ankle loose and flexible.
