I have been wearing barefoot shoes for a couple years now so when I found these, I was excited! The fit is pretty good, although they're a bit narrow for me and the rubber made me think that they were going to last a long time, but after just over a month, I already have a hole in the side of the wool and I'm finding the wool fluff throughout my house. My last pair of wool felt house shoes that cost $99 have lasted three years of consistent use. I'm not sure there will be anything left of these by the time spring comes, and I live in the south.
Hi Deric and thank you for your review on the Pantufa slipper. We're sorry you're experiencing issues and we will do what we can to support you though this! Please be on the lookout for an email from our team to assist in addressing this problem.
I will begin by saying these are nearly a perfect slipper design. Purchased in normal size of 38. Love the lightweight, non bulky, fabric warmth, and overall style. Two negatives… the back of the heel stitching is causing major discomfort. I’ve worn the slipper twice for about 2-3 hours while making dinner and house chores. The back of my heel/ankle is still red and sore an hour after removing slipper. Doesn’t effect function, but the brand tag already fell off after two wears. For $110 on sale, those two negatives should have been avoided. Still going to keep them, but bummed that I will have to wear socks for a barrier.
Got these in a size 39 since that’s my prefered closed toe shoe size for my 24 cm feet, and I absolutely love them. I could have gone with a 38, but the 39 allows for room with socks and accommodates my 10 cm width well. At first, the back stitching was rubbing the back of my ankle and causing discomfort. After two days, that feeling is gone. If you are looking for a comfortable, warm low profile slipper, these are IT!
