Koel Ada Leather Sandal

4 stars because I thought that the leather was a bit thin and flimsy. I loved the leather and cork combo and hope to see more of that in other barefoot designs. I did find the sizing to be forgiving- I bought my true size and a size down to try for my low-volume feet. Both sizes could have worked ok. I did find that one set of the buckles hit and rubbed directly under my ankles when I tightened the sandals to fit my feet [both sizes]. While the sandals were comfy to try on, I think the ankle/buckle situation would have hurt if I'd walked around. I also thought that the sandals made my feet look excessively wide and could have been constructed in a more streamlined way, but that could have been personal preference combined with the shape of my feet. I was tempted to try to make the sandals work because I liked a lot about them, but ultimately they just weren't for me. Anya's Shop has incredibly smooth returns though and my exchange item-- a pair of boots-- is already on its way. Love being able to try out different things and still feel secure knowing that the returns and exchanges have been totally seamless and wonderful.

I love how these look and the material of them. I had high hopes that they’d be a staple in my barefoot collection. Unfortunately the sides rub on my pinky toes. I tried to wear them for a few days hoping that breaking them in would help, but after miles in them, it just got worse. Applying mole skin in the shoe didn’t help. My feet are 22.5 inch long and I purchased a size six. I have the top strap at the loosest setting, and this shoe does not allow my feet to fully splay at the pinky. The material is great, but not good for flexibility of the toes. I’m really disappointed since the idea was to invest in shoes like this. Aside from the shoe, their customer service is great.

I love these! They feel sturdy but not stiff, nice flexible sole. And they don't look bulky as some other shoes in this style do. I heeded some of the other reviewers who talked about extra length in the front and ordered down one size. My foot length is 23cm, and I'm usually a 37 or 38 in barefoot shoes. The size 36 fit perfectly.

I’ve been wearing these almost a month now and I love them. They are the shoe I will reach for most days during the summer. I have low profile feet and sized down per Anya’s review. They fit perfectly. If you add the black version to the store I would buy them immediately.
