I've worn the cinnamon version of this boot daily for about 5 years. They have been my trusty kicks through 2 pregnancies, 4-5 winters, and 4-5 summers. All around fantastic shoe. I'm actually just back on the site today to replace them. After 5 years, they are starting to look a little dingy so they aren't professional looking anymore. (But, I have spilled coffee on them, worn them in snow, etc. so it might just be my own fault ) They have stretched out a little bit overtime. My weight and gait has fluctuated heavily due to having 2 full term pregnancies over the years I've worn these, so these shoes have seen some drama but have held up amazingly with daily wear. I have a Morton's Neuroma which causes some nerve pain and these are the only shoes that my feet like. The soles are still fantastic, the seams are perfect, and even the adhesives are still in near perfect condition. They are still basically waterproof. I wouldn't go wading through swamps or deep snow but I have stepped in puddles, 1-2 inch snow, and mud, and stayed dry. They are cool enough for the summer, and the fleece lining is great in winter with a boot sock. They don't make your feet sweaty like a rubber rain boot does. The matt finish does hold stains - I've had to buff some stains out a few times with water and a rag, I'm not sure if it's the proper way but it's worked for the most part until it just got too worn out.
Thanks so much! I'm back to buy another pair.
I was looking for a sleek looking boot and landed on this one. I am usually a size 38 but sized up to a 39 to accommodate socks and my wide feet. These fit GREAT and are very warm (I tend to have cold feet) and look great! Very happy with the construction of it as well.
I was a little nervous that they would feel chunky and clunky but they are the perfect width and size for my feet and are very comfortable and lighter than I thought they would be. Good purchase.
Comfortable and versatile
I'm 26.7x10cm, average volume, thick in the ankles and calves, and usually wear a 42. My Xero Denver boots are a 42.5 and fit perfectly, if that helps. My widest point is at my bunion and tailors bunion, not my toes. I followed measurements and could have ordered a 42 or 43. As I usually wear wool blend socks and I planned to wear these in the colder months (Michigan), I sized up and ordered the 43. I have about a thumbwidth of space at the front of my longest toe (big toe) and just touch at my bunions but, not squished at all. I'll have the flexibility of exchanging the felt insole for a heavier fleece, if I'd like to but someone with higher arches might not. Someone with thinner than average ankles might float a bit in these but, they're perfect for average-thick. The "dark brown" is accurately displayed in pictures--I'd have liked a darker brown tone option but, it is what I expected with the images shown. Seem to be well-made, as well!
