Mukishoes Nazare Leather Sandal

Wanted to love these. They are so soft and comfortable. But they are poorly made. I just bought these and have only worn them three or four times, and the right sandal fell apart while i was out to lunch. Very sad I paid so much for them.

Let me start by saying these sandals are extremely comfortable. At first, the soles were a bit stiff, but after walking in them a few days, they flexed just fine. The leather truly is butter soft, and extremely comfortable out of the box. I didn’t have the issues some of the other reviewers had with tripping or fold over, but I also sized down to 41 based on that. I actually think I would have been fine with a 42 after wearing them for a bit, but since they are sandals, I don’t have that issue of toes hitting the front like a closed toe shoe would have. I also did spray them with waterproofing, and the leather stayed the same on each shoe. Now, the reason for the star off is that they are not symmetrical. My own fault that I inspected the shoes individually rather than as a pair when I received them, but for all future buyers - compare the shoes!!! I still love the feel, but can’t help but notice every time I wear them that the right foot has buckles twice the size as the left. It makes me feel like I put on two different shoes. In any case, comfort is top notch after a few wears, but the lack of symmetry is a downside.

I've owned these for a year and haven't worn them because they're so soft I tripped over my feet several times when I got them, which was scary and annoying. The toe seemed to fold under. I was disappointed that they didn't work for me. I held onto them and was about to try and sell them this spring when I realized I could adjust the heel strap to push my foot forward in the shoe and tighten the strap over the toes. Since then I've been wearing them comfortably. They are soft as a cloud, the straps are suede, nothing rubs. They're so comfortable.

I love these sandals!! The leather is so soft and there was zero break in time needed. I've been wearing them non-stop since I got them. There's just enough sole for a little protection, but still plenty of ground feel. They fit exactly as expected in my normal size. I'm super happy!
