El Naturalista Horizon Leather Clogs

I will try not to be long-winded, but I bought a few pairs of shoes at the Barefoot Shoe Expo in Schaumburg (pictured), but this is definitely the best purchase I made!

When I saw them I loved them, but when I put them on, I knew they were a keeper. So buttery soft and comfortable— the best barefoot shoe for my feet EVER.
I bought them on the first day of the expo, and wore them the 2nd day- walking TO the expo from our hotel. No matter what distance (I walk for miles), these have been fabulous.

I actually would have missed out on these if I had seen the real price before I tried them on! I had a budget, and accidentally misread the price on the rack (looking at the price of another shoe nearby 🤦🏽‍♀️). I didn’t realize how much they were until I walked away from the register trying to calculate what I bought LOL, but man they are worth it!

First, the splay! Omg - my toes are so happy…
2nd, it’s not pictured on the purchase page, but you can move the strap to the back and wear it like a sandal, which is how I always wear them. (See my pics- and notice which ones I’m wearing 😆)
3rd, It’s been several months since I’ve worn them- including during the summer months- and my feet were surprisingly NOT hot! These will easily take me through the seasons.
4th, even if I’m not wearing them out the house, if we are driving, I throw them in the car just in case I want to switch to ‘my most comfy’…
Lastly, the benefit of being at the expo was being able to try them on to get the right size. I wear between 39-41 depending on the shoe, and I got the 39- perfect fit.

Anya, I saw you there when I made the purchase or maybe the next day, and honestly, I would have talked with you, but I acted like you were a celebrity and didn’t want to bother you!

I love these, ordered them according to my size, but they were too big. Thankfully although they had sold out I signed up for email updates and was able to get my size! These are a great leather clog and I can’t wait for cooler weather to pair them with my handknit anatomical sock collection!

Fit is perfect, style is perfect, feet are happy!

These are amazing! Sturdy, lovely leather, nice slightly cushy insole (comparable thickness to my Bedrock sandals) while still being super flexible. Sadly, the size 40 was too large & the 39 is out of stock. I’m generally between 39 and 40 in most barefoot shoes. I’m on the waitlist for 39 and I can’t wait to try these in a smaller size. The returns process for my too-big clogs was a breeze—I love Anya’s Shop & hope to see el Naturalista clog restock soon!
