Meet the Herlik, a quintessential low top sneaker with a rubber toe cap. These kicks are made of 100% hemp canvas with a natural rubber outsole. Healthy and sustainable, these are shoes that love you (and the Earth) back. 

Each pair is ethically handmade in the European Union. They come in a Regular and Wide fit.

Fit Type:
  • Medium to high volume fit - You can use these Fit Hacks if you have low volume feet.
  • Average to extra wide foot width (see below)

Sizing:
  • Average to wide feet should choose "Regular" width
  • Extra wide feet should choose "Wide" width
  • True to size - order your normal size..
  • Measurements in the size chart are the inner length and width of the shoe in centimeters (8,9 = 8.9 cm). Add about 0.5 - 1.2 cm to your total foot length to get an optimal fit. Feel free to email us with questions about sizing.

    • Removable Insole: 4.5mm hemp canvas
Barefoot shoe qualities
  • Zero Drop: No heel elevation.
  • No Toe Spring: These barefoot shoes are completely flat.
  • Wide foot-shaped toe box: Say goodbye to squishing your toes into trendy shoes!
  • Thin & flexible sole: Allows for natural foot movement. This style has a high walled outsole that gives the illusion of a thick sole, but the shoe is only 3.5mm thick without the insole.
Best For: Everyday casual wear. Not recommended for sports or strenuous outdoor activities.

Super cute, canvas is a little stiff and the soles have this weird border that sometimes feels weird when I walk. They are a great replacement for my converse though!

Awesome! A little wide at the arch

I'm happy with these shoes! ! I have "pizza shaped" feet and needed the wide to accommodate my toes (and I have *just* enough room for them with these), but I also have high arches and low to mid volume feet, so the mid section of these shoes in the wide option is too wide. I have to really crank the lace tight to keep my shoes on.

I only wear these with socks, so I haven't had the issue others have noted with breaking in the back of the shoe at the ankle.

I got them in grey and they look great! However, I don't know if I would order them again, only because of my own need for the wider toe box, but a more narrow shoe mid section. I do highly recommend Realfoot athletic shoes, which I also purchased in grey and solve all my feet needs:)

But Bohempia's canvas sneaker is the only canvas sneaker I've tried so far that really comes close to fitting, doesn't crush my toes, and is a classic design canvas sneaker - - which is so nice to have as a wardrobe option.

High on the heel

Just wore mine for the first time today and agree that the heel is high and cuts in a bit. I wore them with no-show socks so I think if I wear them with higher socks and break them in a bit, they'll be fine. No blisters, just a bit of discomfort. Love the way they look though - exactly what I was looking for in a sneaker.
