The Groundies Ruby is classic elegance. Choose from a neutral beige or the iconic black toe cap style. Made with supple, high-quality leather, the Ruby is appropriate for corporate or casual wear. Removable insoles and a wide toe box make for a comfortable fit for many different foot types.

Fit Type:
  • Low to high volume feet. Removable insole allows for customization.
  • Slope or Mountain foot shapes work best; may work for some Plateau & Square shaped feet.
  • Wide toe box. Will work best for average to wide width feet.

Sizing:
  • True to size - most can order their normal barefoot shoe size.
  • Measurements in the size chart below include the inner length and width of the shoe in centimeters. Add about 0.5 - 1.2 cm to your total foot length to get an optimal fit. See How To Measure Your Feet for more details.

Timeless

These are beautiful and timeless. The sizing chart was extremely accurate. Great quality, love the removable insoles. Package was delivered in a timely matter. Will be ordering from Anya’s shop in the future.

These are adorable and so cute! They didn’t bother my feet the first half of the work day. They did start feeling a little too hot and irritating the second half though! Still looking for good socks to wear with my ballet flats that actually stay on my feet. Good socks would help probably! :)

Elegant, lightweight, and comfortable

Love these! Great alternative to the heeled slingback, pointy version of the beige-black style. Very elegant, stylish, and blends in with traditional shoes. Comfortable, too. I love how unconstrained my toes feel in these. There was no break-in time required, and the elastic does not squeeze my Achilles tendon at all. My feet are 25cm long, 9.5cm wide, medium volume, mountain-shaped, and I got size 39. It is a snug fit, but when walking with a natural gait pattern, my toes don't touch the front of the shoe. I must say since I am new to barefoot shoes, at first it seemed like my longer toes would be touching the front of these when walking. That is because I was still following my old gait pattern from traditional/heeled shoes. As soon as I started paying attention to how I walk barefoot, and followed my natural gait pattern, these shoes were perfect. Any extra length would be a drag. The sole is thin and flexible, and the feel is close to wearing just socks.
