The Shapen Poppy is a truly dressy barefoot flat. Toe box detailing helps to disguise the width and an open design elongates the legs. They are some of the most fashionable women's barefoot shoes in existence.

These Poppy flats come in 2 widths: regular and wide. Please note that the Poppy runs long and many people size down. Reference the size chart below to find your correct size.

Restock expected in late March / early April.

Fit Type:
  • Foot Shape: Roman/Square. Works for all foot shapes provided it is wide enough (see Anya's post on foot types).
  • Foot Volume: Medium - high. (see Anya's post on foot types).
  • Width: The regular width Poppys are medium/average width and are narrower than the Ivy boots. The wide width Poppys are as wide as the Ivy boots. They may not fit all extra wide feet.
  • See Understanding Your Foot Type for more details.
Shapen Poppy Flats Sizing:
  • Length can be longer than comparable sizes in other brands. Please confirm your size with the size chart.
  • Shapen recommends 3 - 7 mm extra space in front of the longest toes for ideal barefoot feeling.

Materials:
  • Upper: Smooth leather.
  • Interior Lining: Leather taped with soft 2mm foam.
  • Sole: Flexible, durable, rubber with anti-slip pattern, only 3 mm thin
Season: Spring, Summer, Fall. Not recommended for driving or other strenuous activity as this can damage the leather.

These really do run long! Use the size chart! For context, my feet are 24cm in length and I wear a 39 in tennis shoes, 38 in sandal. The 38s for these flats were too big. I returned for a size 37 and those fit perfect. I have average volume feet and these are a good fit. Customer service for return was great and shipping, even during the holidays, was great. About a week turn around time. Will be buying from Anya’s shop again!

Not Just Right

I wanted to love these and spent at least a month waiting for my size to come in. I feel like Goldilocks—but the 38 was too long and the 37 was slightly short. I wear a Shapen 39 in sneakers & 40 in the Ivy Boot. I got the wide, which was the right width for my foot. I’m trying the Origo Mary Jane now to see if it’s a better fit.

So Comfortable, but So Delicate

The Good - I wear these shoes to the office weekly. They are so comfortable and look great with all pieces of my wardrobe. I will probably buy other colors. I was unsure of sizing so I sent a question to customer service along with my foot measurements and they were able to assist. Got my sizing right on the first purchase.

The Bad - The bottom of the heels scuff VERY easily. For the price, it's quite disappointing. I have bought other pairs recommended by Anya (Anya's loafers and FeelBarefoot) and this is my first and so far only disappointment. I have worn all the shoes in the photo about equally, but for some reason the leather on these shoes is not of the same quality as other brands, or maybe it's a design flaw. The other shoes seem to have a slightly thicker sole which may prevent the scuffing. Either way, for the price this should not be an issue.

Love the look, the leather feels nice and the sole has a bit of cushion that helps with walking. The backs of my pair got scuffed after first wear, which sucks cuz it's not a cheap shoe. Since I cant return it, I'll be wearing them until they die
I have a wide foot and the wide version has just enough room. Ordered size 41 wide
