Shapen hit it out of the park with the Cozy boot. These supple nubuck leather boots have water-repellent properties and a warm wool lining, perfect for cooling weather. Laces allow for a variety of foot volumes, while a zipper gets you in and out of the boots in no time. The Cozy boots are so soft and warm that you'll almost think you're wearing slippers!
Fit Type:
  • Runs true to size, but these have a thick lining and you might want to choose a larger size if you plan to wear warm socks.
  • Foot Volume: Low - High. Laces allow room to accommodate a variety of foot volumes.
  • Foot Shape: Square. Works for all foot shapes. Great option for Plateau or Square feet.
  • Width: Wide to extra wide.

Comfortable and Warm

I love these! So warm and comfortable. They do feel like slippers. As one other reviewer mentioned, they did rub a bit on my lower inner calf area, BUT they are leather, they stretch and soften beautifully. It only took a walk on the treadmill to stretch that part out and now I'm good to go wearing them barefoot!

New Favorite Boots

I am so pleased with these boots! I purchased a size 39 and my feet measure 24.5cm and are mountain-shaped. I have medium-volume feet, as well. I've had such a difficult time finding boots this season and these are a winner. They're very comfortable, with plenty of room for splay. The laces are nice quality, the zipper is very smooth and easy to zip, and the leather seems like nice quality as well. As with most barefoot shoes, these do not require any break in. I also find the soles to be very grippy, which I really appreciate since Iive in the midwest. They are wool lined, but one thing to note is that there is smooth and soft leather at the inside of the heel, which isn't the most comfortable if you are not wearing socks only because you can feel the difference between the wool and leather on your heel. I plan to wear socks with mine, so this won't be a problem. I do think this is worth noting because not all lined boots have this feature. It's a smart design choice because I think the boots will hold up well over time since that part of the inside of the shoes will go through more friction with putting the boots on and taking them off. Overall, highly recommend these boots! I wouldn't change a thing.

Wonderful

I’m new to barefoot shoes. I love this website, such great starting point, and all the reviews Anya does! Shoes fit true to size, I used the chart and that is also super helpful!! And order my shoe size I would wear in ‘regular’ shoes anyways. Shoes are warm but definitely not warm enough for harsh winter and long outdoors exposure but otherwise perfectly comfortable and due to the soft suede leather and wool lining these feel like slippers, I feel like I’m not wearing any shoes! I am worried about them not lasting too long but I think it’s a nature of such a soft and minimal shoe

These are my favorite boot! I love everything about these: the cozy warm wool lining, the side you're box that doesn't crowd my toes, the super flexible sole, and the zipper! I have foot drop and barefoot shoes have helped me walk better! The zipper makes getting in and out of these a breeze! These in particular are so light and can completely bend in every direction! The color is cute and can be dressed up or down! I am absolutely a new Shapen fan! Thank you for carrying this brand, Anya!

Zipper rubbed my skin

I wanted to love these. I had to return them. I have high volume feet and high arches. Muscular calves. The zipper at the top rubbed my skin raw on the inside. I'm sad about this, I had draped myself over them online for weeks and was ecstatic when they were restocked. I will try again next year and see if that is alleviated.
