The Be Lenka Bliss is a cozy winter ankle boot. Lined with fleece, this boot is made with warmth in mind. Soft fleece lining extends on top of the tongue and around the ankle opening, topped off with a unique lacing design. Lacing hooks and deeper lugs make these boots even more practical for your casual winter days.

Be Lenka Bliss Boot Sizing:
  • Not all Be Lenka shoes have the same size chart. Please confirm your size prior to ordering.
  • Measurements in the size chart are the inner length and width of the shoe in centimeters (8,9 = 8.9 cm). Add about 0.5 – 1.2 cm to your total foot length to get an optimal fit. Feel free to email us with questions about sizing.

Bliss Boot Materials:
  • Shoe: Hydrophobic Nubuck + Textile
  • Interior Lining: Fleece
  • Sole: Rubber, 4mm thick not counting lugs. Slip resistant.
Barefoot Shoe Qualities:
  • Zero Drop – No heel elevation.
  • Wide Foot-Shaped Toe Box – Your toes will not be squished together to fit inside these boots. Be Lenka toe boxes are wider than most other barefoot shoes.
  • Thin, Flexible Sole – Warm enough for winter but flexible enough to allow for natural foot movement.
Best For: Urban everyday wear. Great for fall/winter cold days. Not waterproofed but you can use a waterproofing spray.

Bliss - an aptly named shoe!

Since switching to barefoot shoes, my first being the Xero 360, I've quickly adapted and recovered from a sprained ankle very smoothly, to the point that when the snow fell and I tried to wear my Keen snow boots (awaiting my Bliss boots), with a heel, I wore my Xeros in the snow. I immediately felt the misalignment in my spine the one day I wore the Keen boots (I have scoliosis).

I absolutely adore the Bliss boots and am now contemplating swapping out my entire shoe collection for a pair of barefoot shoes in each category (dress, athletic, casual). They are light, the toebox leaves ample room for thick socks, and the 39 is true to size (I wear a women's 8, average width foot, but my foot seems to be shrinking to a 7.5 with age). Three cheers for barefoot shoes, Be Lenka footwear, and Anya's wonderful website and shop!

Runs small, but SO cute!

These are even more adorable in person than in photos. I ordered my normal size (38) and, unfortunately, my toes were touching the ends. Now, I am waiting for these to come back in stock in the larger sizes. I am looking forward to owning a pair one day! I think I will size up 1-2 sizes for Be Lenka boots in the future. Otherwise, the fit was great for my mountain, fan-shape, low-volume feet.

These are roomier than the Winter 2.0 Neo boots, because the lining is a flat felt and not the plush shearling. They are also a little more stiff than the Winters, but not by much. I am sure they would break in quickly.

I'm 23.5 x 10.25 cm, mountain, high volume, with a pesky bunion. I am glad I sized up to a 39 instead of my regular barefoot size of 38 (according to the size chart for the Bliss). The 39 gave me extra toe wiggle space as I don't like my toes to push up against shoes, and more space to accommodate my high volume feet. I could have "survived" in the 38, but it would have required breaking in the shoes and again, no extra space. I haven't worn these for a long time, so as a first-time wear, they have more structure than hardcore barefoot shoes -- but I'm ok with it since it's hard to find boots that accommodate my feet shape/size. These will be my go-to non-snow winter boots. (I got the Be Lenka Snowfox as snowboots but regret ordering a size 38 per the recommendation of Be Lenka). For boots with a lining, you want to consider sizing up from your regular shoe size!
