The Shapen Poppy is a truly dressy barefoot flat. Toe box detailing helps to disguise the width and an open design elongates the legs. They are some of the most fashionable women's barefoot shoes in existence.

These Poppy flats come in 2 widths: regular and wide. Please note that the Poppy runs long, and many people size down. Reference the size chart below to find your correct size.

Fit Type:
  • Foot Shape: Roman/Square. Works for all foot shapes provided it is wide enough (see Anya's post on foot types).
  • Foot Volume: Medium - high. (see Anya's post on foot types).
  • Width: The regular width Poppys are medium/average width and are narrower than the Ivy boots. The wide width Poppys are as wide as the Ivy boots. They may not fit all extra wide feet.

Shapen Poppy Flats Sizing:
  • Length can be longer than comparable sizes in other brands. Please confirm your size with the size chart.
  • Shapen recommends 3 - 7 mm extra space in front of the longest toes for ideal barefoot feeling.

Inconsistent Sizes, Not So Durable Sole

I initially bought this shoe in black, I loved them so much, sized down, per the advice on the fit guide. (I’m usually size 41 but got 40) They fit perfect! Unfortunately after about a month of daily use the sole on the heel was completely worn out down to the leather. Nothing a cobbler couldn’t fix, but still for the price I found this ridiculous.

Fast forward a year and I bought my second pair in the rose color. Same size. However, the rose ones are HUGE on my feet, like I can fit four fingers in the toe box. I had to request to return them. Which is very frustrating. I will likely try to size down to a 39 but it may not be worth the hassle at this point.

It's amazing how well these shoes fit. I got the wide in one size smaller than I normally wear (after consulting with an expert at Anya's Shop, and they are my favorite ballet flats. Classy & Comfortable

I live in Florida and bought these shoes for colder days when I need an enclosed, dressy flat. I usually wear a size 40/41, but because would wear tights/socks with these shoes, I got size 42. I tried them on and walked around the house for a while. These are my first barefoot shoes and by far the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. The toe box feels incredibly spacious and they are cushioned enough to feel comfortable while still allowing my foot to completely bend. Thank you Anya for your work in bringing awareness to the benefit of barefoot shoes and offering products to buy within the USA.
